Capital Air Show (Mather AFB, Sacramento, California)
In Fall 2010 my father was a recognized volunteer who helped coordinate the Capital Air Show, he is four years retired from the USAF and enabld my family to attend the event from the prestigious veteran's tent. These pictures are memories that we took from the event, the first is a picture of four of the five P38's attending the show, this is a spectacular site since only a handful of these planes are still flying; according to the show, only six of these planes left in the world, this air show housed five of them, one was recovered from a polar ice cap. The second picture is three of my four children, myself, and a WWII P38 Ace Pilot. It was a honor to hear the stories and to meet someone who has a spot in U.S. history.
Vacations
Well winter is well on it's way, living in the Northern California valley I am less than two hours from Tahoe and San Francisco. We are planning our March family cabin vacation on the North Shore of Tahoe, which includes skiing and a lot of snow play. The kids are excited about the upcoming trip, as am I.
